Our IDE Notebook Hard Drive Kit truly is a useful and unique product.  This is the only solution that we have ever seen that allows you to install two notebook (2.5") drives in the same space as a single 3.5" drive bay and than connect them to a standard IDE bus.  The most common uses for this is in rack mount systems Firewalls, Media Centers,  servers, Car PC's, or anywhere drive space is limited but a large drive capacity is needed, and where the case manufacturer has only provided mounting for 3.5" drives.
