These external DVD drives are built to our specifications to include Panasonic UJ-845 slot loading notebook drives. We use these drives in our car PC systems because of their ability to be powered exclusively by a USB 2.0 connection. Their small foot print and trayless design make them ideal for use anywhere space is limited. If need be, they can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or sideways. No matter what your use is, if you need to add an external DVD burner to your system, this is the way to do it.
